Who it helps
A circle for loss
For adults who have lost a pregnancy and would like to sit with others who understand.
What the evenings look like
The circle is up to eight people, meeting on Thursday evenings for six weeks in the Milwaukee office. Each evening runs ninety minutes. Yolanda opens with a few words, and then people speak or stay quiet, as they choose.
No one is asked to tell their story. Anyone may pass. What is said in the room stays in the room, and Yolanda explains the limits of that promise before the first evening.
The method
A guided conversation, not a lecture. Yolanda leads it with the same training she brings to one-to-one sessions.
Good to know
What this is not, and how it is paid
What this is not
Not a substitute for individual therapy, and not a support group run by peers. If you want both, you can have both.
How long and how often
Six Thursday evenings, ninety minutes each. New circles begin when enough people have written.
How it is paid
You pay for each evening you attend, and the circle fee is explained on the fees page. A good faith estimate comes first if you pay without insurance.
How fees work
